Welcome to The Old Mission Hall Studios
Artists: Sue (Susie) Wightman & Heather Eisentut
Based in the beautiful, historic Cotswold village of Sibford Gower, Oxfordshire, The Old Mission Hall Studios have been open since November 2014. The Sibfords were one of the oldest Quaker communities in England and today there are many examples of their ancient and present work. The Old Mission Hall is on Temple Mill Road, which leads from the village through to Hook Norton. It is opposite a popular pub, The Wykham Arms and the artists and friends often partake of the excellent food and drink.
The Sibford Meeting have worked hard on the existing building to create a working space for up to four artists. Sue and Heather are utilising all of the space at present, due to the nature of their work and also the need for a gallery. It is an exciting time for the studios now they are fully established. Watch out for new pieces of work and future exhibition dates.
